Do you cut your own bangs..? does it look better when you do it than a prof. hair stylist, i mean as it's designed by you. and they can't cut too much off if you do it..?

I cut my own bangs all the time. I also cut all my hair, dye it, highlight it and tone it all by myself.

But I'm also a licensed cosmetologist and know what I'm doing, so the bottom line it not to do anything to your hair unless you KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING.

noooooooo! because stylists know what ther doing, they know how your hair will move, a lot of times people cut their own and dont think they are too short but then they end up being shorter than expected... professionals know these things, trust them

I tried cutting my own bangs once. Honestly, I wouldn't reccommend it. It's risky and the results are rarely as good as a salon's. Plus, some salons only charge a small fee ($5 - 10) for cutting bangs only.

I suggest you go to a salon the first time you cut your bangs. They will give you tips on how to cut it yourself. One thing, you should not cut your bangs when your hair is wet.

yeah, I tried that once. big mistake. go to a pro. they have experience, you don't. you have to wear your hair everday.

well if you've done it before and you know you can cut them then go ahead. i always cut my hair im 15 years old and i got my hair cut by a professional for the first time in my life. but it depends on what type of bangs you want to cut. message me for instructions on how to cut your bangs certain ways though.

Yeah, I sit in front of the mirror and figure out which way I would like to cut them then I do it.But before I do that I usally look in a magazine to see what style I would like.

Most of my life I would cut my own bangs...nothing to it. Then I grew them all out and haven't gone back to bangs. Now I have a stylist cut it....only because her scissors are so much better than mine and the ends look nice and soft. I think it's ok to trim your bangs. But best to take too little off than too much...at least they can be fixed if they are too long.
