I'm having a heck of a time with the hairstyle that I have..?

I got it cut awhile back, medium length, layered, and bangs. Now my problem is styling it! It looks great after the hair stylists does it, but when I wash it and try to do it myself, it looks nothing like how it did when I first got it done. How do you section the hair to blowdry.style it. How many sections do you divide the hair into? How do you blowdry the back, when you can't see what you're doing?? I'm supposed to use a round brush when styling. And, no, I can't wash, put some product into it and let it dry naturally, or just blowdry it without styling it..

I swear, I wish I could take my hair stylist home with me. =/

Your hair sounds like mine the only difference is I don't have bangs. What I do when I get out of the shower is put a Thermashine spray by SunSilk in my hair and a creme for frizz. I let it air dry for 15 minutes while I do my makeup and then blowdry it till it's dry.

Then I take half my hair and put it up in a clip and blowdry the back. The trick is leaving the roll brush in your hair for a few minutes because the hair needs to cool to keep the hair holding shape. Then I take sections down at a time and repeat the process. I also hairspray each section after I blowdry it with the roll brush in. After that process is over I run a flat iron through my hair to get rid of any frizz, hairspray it and put a frizz serum in.

I know it sounds like a lot but it takes all of 20 minutes and my hair looks fresh and I am happy with the way it looks. I hope that helped and I know when I first layered my hair I would have killed to have my stylist with me every morning but I learned how to do it alone. It's trial and error and learning what works best on your hair. :)

well if you have straight hair, try and see how it looks curly... its EASY... just get it wet, then put some mousse in it and scrunch it... then just pull your bangs back with a clippie. i dont know how it will look on you, but i tried it and i love it!

What to do...?

I'm getting my hair cut on Saturday! I have some styles in mind, but I would love feedback from you guys!

I have wavy hair about 2-3 in. below my shoulders. The roots aren't wavy - the waves/ringlets start towards the middle and bottom.

How should I get my hair cut? Pictures would help a lot, that way I can take them to my stylist...

I don't want to lose lots of length... so no bobs or anything (even though they are super cute, I want to keep my hair growing longer!)....

OMG! What would you do in my horrible situation? Wrong place @ the wrong time!?

So my supposed friend took me to a hair salon one day to get my hair done for free because she was friends with one of the hairstylist there. So I loved her work so much, that I decided to take my mom in a few days later to get her hair cut. So there we were, my mom getting her hair done while I閳ユ獡 sitting in front of her and the hairstylist and I never got up from my seat. I can even retrace all my steps. Well this pregnant chick passes in front of me and goes to my left where the stylist workstation is located. I didn't look at her too much because I was looking @ my mom. Ok so my mom gets her hair cut, I tell say thanks and pay the hairstylist 20$ plus a 5$ tip. So we went home and all the sudden @ like around 7pm I get some late text from my supposed friend asking If me or my mom took anything from the hairstylist place. I got 3 of those texts I was yelling out and outraged! I called her right away and she told me that I was being accused by 2 customers of stealing a bandana and some stupid money. I was horrified and could not even comprehend as to what I was hearing. Well I called her friend the hairstylist and she said the same thing. She also said she had her back turned @ me but I was sitting still sitting in front of her. Well I was horrified and asked if they had a video to prove my innocence and she said yes but we couldn閳ユ獩 view it till the morning. I was pssd %26amp; had an awful night %26amp; planned to go view the tape @ 10am. So we were on our way when we decided to call her just to find out that that one day they didn閳ユ獩 have the camera rolling. I was furious and in disbelief! I dint know what to do. The hairstylist said she would call me if anything else happened and that I should worry about it. I mention to her about that pregnant chick going to that area and she flipped out and said she would have to ask about that. Apparently it was that pregnant chick and her mom accusing me of stealing. The pregnant chick committed the crime and decided to frame me. I am so pissed about them not having the video. Those women are awful. I hope they make further investigations and find out how those women framed me. I don閳ユ獩 know what to do but forget about it. What would you do in my place?
